There's nothing in this section of the forum yet, so I decided to see if anyone even knows anything about it.

The first two are for GBA, path of radiance is for GC, and radiant dawn is wii.
I think that I'd suggest the original Fire Emblem. You can probably get it pretty cheaply on eBay.
By the way, "other" means any of the six that were only made in Japanese.

I have played both Fire Emblem and Fire Emblem Scared Stones. Fire Emblem is a very addictive game. Once you start playing it, its hard to put it down. There are so many characters, weapons and magic to use. Its a game that really tests how good your stratagy is. Fire Emblem Scared Stones is just as good, but not quite as long or emmersing as Fire Emblem. I don't want to say too much as I don't want to say any spoilers, but all that I can say is...the games are great!

I think that I'd suggest the original Fire Emblem. Depends what you mean by original, whether you mean the GBA version or the actual original. I'm not too into strategy games, but I enjoy using FE characters in Smash Bros.

I played 6 or 7 on GBA, a ROM of course. And I played Radiant Dawn on Wii, but I didn't know what the game was about as I never played the one on GameCube.

That suggests then that you've played some Japan only FE games.

I think that I'd suggest the original Fire Emblem. Depends what you mean by original, whether you mean the GBA version or the actual original. I'm not too into strategy games, but I enjoy using FE characters in Smash Bros. I meant the GBA version, FE7. Jaffar is the best character on there, in my opinion. Unfortunately, you don't get him until chapter 25 or so.... Yeah, Sacred Stones isn't as long or immersing, but it's still one of my favorites, if only for the Tower of Valni. I love raising Swordmasters, Assassin, Wyvern Knights, and various other units midgame. Then I can completely waste anyone in my path . BTW, three 20/20 assassins maxed out and fully equipped with killing edges = complete pwnage .

I'm on mission 16 of FE right now with 10 hours play time. Wow. Did the first 7 and thought I had finished it. Turns out it was just the tutorial. So many characters and all likable! (except Dorcas)

You can play it through 3 times, starting at a different place each time. Lynn's story is the first one though, yes. But what's wrong with Dorcas? Yes, his name describes him perfectly (take off the -as), but he's not that bad, is he?

Nah, he's in FE6, which you have to use a translated ROM for, unfortunately. He's the kid of one of the main characters in FE7.
It's kinda weird, because I'm playing through FE6 right now, and it's placed 15 or 20 years after FE7. Everything is so well lined up it seems like they had to have done FE7 first......
