From Squeak Squad (I haven't played any others), I probably like fighter best, but sword and ghost are good too.
What's your favourite power from any of the games?

Probably Stone from Canvas Curse (the only Kirby game I've played). It takes a lot to control though.

My favorite copy ability is the Plasma ability. In Kirby Air Ride, you can power it up and let go of a giant plasma ball of energy that can KO an opponent pretty quick. It has always been a favorite of mine.
