And the winner is - HYPNOTOAD -

OK, this is similar to the "favourite dungeon" thread: you state your favourite equippable item from the Zelda series, and the game it is in - often the same item differs between episodes

You then explain why it is your favourite piece of kit

eg. "I like the golden bee from LTTP, because it can be released to attack enemies and then recaptured"

Fire rod from FSA. So fun to burn enemies. Wink
Also the double Claw-shot from TP was awesome...made you feel like spiderman.
And what adventurer is complete without his trusty grappling hook? It was such an Indiana Jones item.

Overall though my favourite and most used item is the bow. So useful and essential.....and picking off enemies before they even see you is so satisfying.... Cheesy

Double Clawshot is my favourite, as is every other Hookshot.

The bow is brilliant - and really shines in MM, where the dungeon items are different types of arrows

But my favourite item has to be the hookshot as used in phantom hourglass - it doesn't let you swing like in WW, but it works like a hookshot. Also, the ability to stretch it between posts and use it as a tightrope or slingshot: genius!

Oh I forgot the Ocarina is the best ever item! Especially in MM... All those different instruments were so cool! (Deku horn the best Wink )
Some of the songs were really good....Saria's song and Zelda's lullaby my favourite

Like I said you buy it in the shop in the Dark World village... It does nothing but attack enemies

So it's useless then?

But very, very cool. And brave. How many small insects do you know that would attack Gannon?

Technically, the golden bee IS a sidequest - the shopkeeper won't sell them unless you bring him one (I won't tell you where)

It has to be one of my favourite items
