A lot of people seem to be using Meta Knight. My first choice is Ike, then Meta Knight for me.

Snake is hard to use and very tactical, but is one of the best characters around.

I think Lucario's down air move is quite good, plus he's the only character who I know how to do Meteor Smashes with.
NXtreme thought that Lucario was a clone of Samus.

Ike's down is close, but it's different. Ike swings his sword below him, but Link holds it there, so you have to time Ike's a lot better.
I think Ike is considered a noob choice overall, but he's actually one of the better choices once you get good at dodging and stuff.
