Well this is the topic to post all your FE tier lists, probably the most fun thing to do on an FE forum. I'll start it off with my own FE7 one (because that's the one I'm most familiar with).

Amazing:

Hector
Priscilla
Lucius
Rebecca

Great:

Matthew
Florina
Lyn
Dart
Raven
Canas
Pent
Erk
Guy

Good:

Eliwood
Jaffar
Bartre
Oswin
Legault
Kent
Sain
Wil
Rath
Hawkeye
Fiora
Farina
Heath
Geitz
Serra
Marcus
Karel
Harken

Fair:

Dorcas
Lowen
Isadora
Wallace
Louise
Vaida

Awful:
Karla
Renault

These are of course my own opinion and probably everyone else will disagree with this. (I already know Ratiqu will, due
to a certain character in the good category). All comments and suggestions are very welcome, or even better lists of your own, because each one gets us closer to the ultimate goal of the perfect final party!

Note:Kent, Sain and Oswin really deserve a higher ranking but they get demoted for their classes flaws.
Yes, Rebecca really is amazing, as well as Lucius. Matthew far outranks Legault in every way

I have to admit I haven't played with every character so some placings are a little sketchy

I'll do my own FE7 list so people can compare it to yours. And I think your list is fine, Leonri - everybody has their own preferences. Besides, Jaffar is a pre-raised unit. If you got him as a thief, you could raise him to twenty before promoting him, but you can't. His stats would be far better than either Matthew's or Legault's if you could, though.

Excellent:
Lyn
Nino
Matthew
Heath

Great:
Jaffar
Lucius
Canas
Hector
Eliwood
Rath
Raven
Guy
Erk
Athos

Good:
Florina
Dart
Pent
Louise
Priscilla
Rebecca
Wil
Oswin
Kent
Sain
Marcus
Hawkeye
Harken
Fiona
Farina
Geitz
Karel
Lowen

Fair:
Renault
Dorcas
Serra
Vaida
Wallace
Isadora

Awful:
Bartre
Karla

Heath? Have to say never used him. Perhaps I will now.

Rebecca is better than Wil by a large amount and they are both far superior to Louise. Nino should be lower for massive underleveledness.
Dart is amazing as a Beserker. Lowen I feel has too little strength to compete with the other horsemen. Is Bartre that bad?
That said I agree with the majority.

Can you do one for PoR? Might help with choosing......(Man, I'm so excited!)

Actually, PoR is the only (English) one I haven't played, so, can't help you there.

I've never actually raised Rebecca (haven't done much for Wil either), but they're both better than Louise because of the pre-raised thing. I didn't pay a whole lot of attention to the horsemen, either. Dart is pretty good, I just never used him either (are you sensing a pattern here?). Nino wasted everyone enough to make up for her crappy level, and I just hate Bartre. And Heath was always one of my favorites - just something to do with wyvern riders, I think (Cormag is one of my favorites on FE8), so don't worry too much about that.

You really should get PoR. I never thought anything could beat FE7 but......it does. It really is fantatic.

Have you played RD? From almost every source I've heard, RD was better than PoR. And I still don't think RD was better than FE7. Or FE8 for that matter.

Maybe if it wasn't for the laguz, who I found to be too difficult to level up or keep alive in general, or the anima triangle(Tongue).

Since I don't have a Wii, RD is out of the question. But if I do get it eventually, it's going to be my first buy....

I guess it's the type of storyline. They both have great, deep ones but PoR and what I've seen of RD are more political, which I like better I guess. Also the interaction between beorc and laguz is really fascinating.

I definitely see where you're coming from. I guess it all depends on what you like in a game.

^Yep! Characters can learn skills in this game and each can learn a unique, ultimate skill. Ike's one is Aether, which is the best one in the game. Does triple damage and heals him. Shocked

By the way in Smash Bros is Aether his final Smash or his up-B?

Ratiqu, you really should get PoR. Actually, most people I've talked to prefer it. Apparently because of a better story, less akward game flow, better character development and proper supports. Also it helps you understand RD a lot better.

Do you learn the Black Knight's identity in that game? 'Cause that's one of the great things in PoR. You learn nothing about him and everything he does is a mystery....

Yeah, you learn who the Black Knight is in RD, but I won't spoil it for you. Tempting as it is. Unless you already know...?  Shocked

Anyway, Ike's Up-B is Aether, and his FS in Great Aether.

Alright, I'll see what I can do about getting PoR....*grumbles something incoherently*....

Shame they took out the healing bit for Smash Bros.

You don't have to get it just 'cause I said so! I only said it would be good if you got it....

About the BK, I don't know for certain but I have a few theories.....but there's so much mysteries about him that are hard to figure out. Like what's his relationship with Sephiran? Where did he get armor blessed by a goddess? WHy was he working for Ashnard? BTW, Don't tell me...I like surprises.
