Is there anyone here, apart from me, who likes Guitar Hero? It's a game where you use a guitar controller with 5 frets and a strum bar, and you have to strum and hold a particular fret at the right time. It's a rhythm game.

Guitar Hero is a very addictive game and it's easy to pick up and play. Have any of you ever played Guitar Hero and what do you think of it?

I've played it a couple of times, but never got the chance to use the guitar controller. The PS2 controller is not particularly adept when it comes to GH3....

It's a pretty sweet game. I particularly like the song "Miss Murder".

Oh, and check this out.

Edit: Conrad didn't make 100%.

This guy did.

Oh yeah, that song Through the Fire and Flames... It's so difficult! I'm trying to beat that on Expert; so far I've managed to find a way to get past the intro by using two hands and elbow-strumming.

Was that video on Expert mode. If so, Conrad is an amazing player.

Hence the name of the "Inhuman Achievement" on the Xbox 360 version.

It's all right being good at Guitar Hero and all, but I think that those who can get 100% on TTFAF need to get a life.

I'm trying to beat it...

BTW Hypnotoad, if you're interested, I've made a YouTube channel with some Guitar Hero On Tour videos (just gameplay videos, my face isn't shown). It's called OL1V3R666.

GHOT is a bit uncomfortable at first mind you.

GHWT looks good. You could do Metroid songs on there in the same style as Metroid Metal.

I'll post a new thread on Guitar Hero World Tour as this is a generic Guitar Hero thread.

I'm not entirely sure; I have several favourites.

Some of my favourite sounding songs include:

3s and 7s (by Queens of the Stone Age)
When You Were Young (by The Killers)
My Name Is Jonas (by Weezer)
Stricken (by Disturbed)

I also like the song that occurs on the Lou Boss Battle.

From what I've seen, I like Baracuda and Ruby.

Miss Murder and Cliffs of Dover are my favorites. My name is Jonas is fun though.

I got GH3 for Wii!! Now, does anyone know a good place to get a cheap guitar controller? I'm struggling with the awkward Wiimote controls.

Maybe you should have got it from Gamestation - the last time I checked, it was Ł44.99 with the guitar.

Why didn't you buy the game with the guitar. The guitar controller is the best way to play the game.

That's a redux of "Devil wen't down to Georgia"

One of my favourites too, along with Nights of Cydonia, Holiday in Cambodia and Paranoid
