I can make really good signatures on Adobe Photoshop, but a free solution to image editing is some quite good software called
TheGIMP. You can download it here:

Ahh, The GIMP. Great little program it is. However, it seems that whenever I download it, I use it once then uninstall it. I'll download it again, to make a signature, but delete it after as I'm not supposed to download stuff to this computer as it's not slow enough as it is. I'll be sure to download it when nanna gets her new computer though.
